Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Diversity reception is important technique to allow high speed and quality transmission. Although adaptive antenna loaded with variable capacitor in series has been proposed, an effective combining is not achieved due to a narrow range for the phase controlling. Therefore, we propose an adaptive antenna loaded with variable capacitors in parallel to antennas. In addition to that, we load the output with a variable capacitor in order to prevent degradation of the performance caused by mismatch. We evaluate the performance of two branch diversity antenna that consists of half dipole antennas under NLOS multipath environment for the feasibility sutdy. We show that the performance of the proposed system by using three capacitors is close to the selection combining.
