Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, an algebraic theorem called ULA Factorization Theorem has been proved for Uniform Linear Array (ULA) with co-phase excitations. It ultimately governs the arrays of arrays principle of equi-spaced ULA in that all possible topologies of feeding networks with equal amplitude and co-phase dividers are determined by multiplication order of geometric series in the factorization formula in accordance with prime factorization of the number of array elements. Further physical insight yields corollary of the theorem called Feed Network Factorization Theorem, where an isomorphism is found between the factorization formulas and certain analogue of trees in the discrete mathematics. Applications to simple ULA geometries and related miscellaneous mathematical considerations are described.
