A Determination Method of Antenna Weight for Distributed Feed on Mobile Handsets

Abstract(in English) The method of distributed feed for mobile handsets had been proposed in order to improve radiation efficiency. It is necessary to optimize antenna weights for improvement of radiation efficiency. In this paper, we propose a determination method of optimum antenna weights for distributed feed. The test signal from random wave source, which is built in a phantom, is employed for optimization of weights. In order to eliminate the affects of polarized wave, the test wave source is used triaxial antenna and random function. We describe the theory of this proposal method and evaluate the validity by simulation and experimental.
