Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The method of distributed feed for mobile handsets had been proposed in order to improve radiation efficiency. The validity of this method had been clarified by numerical simulation. In this paper, this method is proved to be effective in improved efficiency by experimental study. Firsity, the experimental system and prototype model of distributed feed are described. Secondly, the electric field in a phantom and the radiation efficiency are evaluated by experiment. Furthermore, the variation of radiation efficiency and SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) by phase shift between elements is evaluated.
