Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) According to the rapid penetration of wireless LAN, co-channel interference may become serious problem even for indoor wireless system. In this paper, relation between antenna directivity and co-channel interference was investigated experimentally. 4-beam antenna was fabricated for access points in 2.5GHz band. Field distributions in the indoor and outdoor area were measured and compared for the 4-beam antenna and a single antenna. From experiments, around 3dB interference reduction was estimated when 4-beam antenna was used for the access point.
