Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to evaluate or design a high-speed and wideband mobile communication system, a spatio-temporal channel model is needed, which can express actual propagation variation characteristics in detail. Recently, MIMO (Multi-Input-Multi-Output) system has gained increasing attention. Antenna branch's correlation characteristics are very important to evaluate its channel capacity, and the channel model reflected on path's fading characteristics is indispensable to evaluate the correlation characteristics. In this study, we think that one of the major factor contributing to propagation path variation is a shadowing caused by object's moving, such as human and motor vehicle around the mobile station, and we offer the channel variation model in an indoor environment, which incorporates methods of propagation path variation by human. We make sure that received level measured at the building entrance that is busy area is dependent on Nakagami-Rice distribution as well as simulation results by the channel variation model in a stationary mobile station, thinking of the indoor wireless LAN. We also indicate that the received level with no shadowing and the depth of shadowing are effective parameters in the fading characteristics.
