Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In new generation mobile communications, high-speed wide-band transmission which can realize lOOMbps at the maximum is expected. In order to realize the high-speed wide-band transmission, it is necessary to improve frequency efficiency. The method that uses vertical polarization and horizontal polarizations at the some time was proposed. In this method, cross polarization discrimination (XPD), which is the ratio of vertical polarization power and horizontal polarization power, is important. In this paper, we refer to the measurement results of microwave-band in the urban area, and clarify the characteristics of cross polarization discrimination and the cross correlation coefficient between cross polarizations.
