Abstract(in English) The demand for indoor high-speed wireless networks is increasing and millimeter-wave bandwidths appear to be especially suitable for ad hoc wireless systems. At the communications research laboratory, we have commenced a project to experiment with millimeter-wave communication systems that use a frequency of 70 GHz. The experiments were performed in a Japanese style wooden house at frequencies of 60 and 70 GHz. We measured the propagation characteristics depending on the angle of the receiving antenna in an LOS environment. The results of the propagation measurements are presented.
