Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes matched filter (MF) -based iterative soft interference canceller (ISIC) to reduce the complexity of conventional minimum mean square error (MMSE) filter-based ISIC for high speed transmission in MIMO/OFDM systems. Furthermore, MF and MMSE combined ISIC is proposed to take advantages of both MF-based and MMSE-based ISIC. In this scheme, MF is basically utilized but only in the first iteration MMSE filter is employed to sufficiently suppress interference since no interference is cancelled yet. Computer simulation results confirm that the combined ISIC can achieve almost equal performance to the MMSE-based ISIC with reducing 85% multiplications, and outperforms V-BLAST receiver by about 2 dB in four transmit and receive antennas system under exponentially distributed twelve path condition.
