Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) ESPAR (Electronically Steerable Parasitic Array Radiator) antenna whose polarization can be varied is proposed. The parasitic elements are arranged not in parallel to the fed element. An equivalent weight vector expression for the ESAPR antenna is given by considering vector components and direction dependence to the vector effective lengths of each antenna array elements. By using steepest gradient method, the ability of varying the polarization to desired directions is studied. An ESPAR antenna which can change polarization in bilateral opposite direction is also propose by arranging parasitic elements with an opposite lean direction in turns.
