Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Computer simulations show that a coding gain is achieved in non-line-of-sight propagations by applying the spatial interleaving technique to trellis-coded space-time transmission systems. This paper evaluates the effect of the spatial interleaving technique through in-laboratory experiments. It is studied in what propagation conditions the spatial interleaving technique improves the bit-error-rate performance.
