Abstract(in English) With the rapidly increasing demand for supporting diversified requirements of users in a high-speed mobile multimedia system, providing quantitative guaranteed service in best effort based CDMA high-speed packet cellular system is an important and challenging issue. In this paper, wireless QoS architecture which provides quantitative guaranteed service and best effort service is proposed. Based on the proposed architecture, radio condition aware admission control and hybrid scheduling considering guaranteed rate are proposed as the break-through mechanisms for wireless QoS control. By radio condition aware admission control, quantitative guaranteed service can be provided despite the interference variation, location of mobile station, and when congestion. By hybrid scheduling, radio resource is assigned to guaranteed users considering guaranteed rate and consequently, quantitative service can be provided. Computer simulation indicates that the QoS satisfaction rate of quantitative guaranteed users is improved remarkably.
