Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper considers transmit weight decision methods of multicarrier CDMA with array antenna that are installed at base stations in order to improve the peforamnce of downlink communication. In this paper, we consider two transmit weight decision techniques for multicarrier CDMA transmitted in the downlink channel. The first technique decides the weights in each subcarrier by using multicarrier signals transmitted in the uplink channel and the second technique collectively decides the weights throughout all multicarrier CDMA signals by using DS-CDMA signals transmitted in the uplink channel. We also compare the performance varying spreading direction in the frequency domain called MC-CDMA, and the time domain called MC/DS-CDMA by using the computer simulation.
