Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper studies the packet sequencing scheme for the wireless multi-link systems. In general multi-link systems, the order of packet arrivals cannot be assured at the receiving node due to the difference of transmission rate among the links and the size of each packet. Such out-of-order packet arrivals can significantly deteriorate the performance of transport-layer protocols. The authors have developed the packet sequencing scheme for the multi-link systems to avoid such deterioration of the system performance. This paper describes the implementation of the packet sequencing scheme on the currently developing fixed wireless access systems. This paper then presents a quick report on the performance comparison among packet distribution algorithms at the transmitting node under the various transmission rate conditions of links.
