Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents method of generating digital SSB signal and shows its performance obtained from computer simulations The class-IV partial-response signal is employed as a line code in order to prevent degradations, such as the spectrum leakage and the intersymbol interference, caused by imperfections of Hubert filter. The phase-shifting method processed in baseband and the CAP processed in carrier frequency band are realized by binary transversal filter (BTF). Moreover, new design methods for reducing the number of BTF taps are proposed
