Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a new MAC protocol using reactance-domain spatial correlation for adaptive ESPAR (Electronically Steerable Parasitic Array Radiator) antenna and estimate the necessary number of symbols. As a result, we need 32 samples from received signal in 20dB SNR conditions. This new way for making the table reduces the sampling symbols effectively, compared with the previously proposed protocol. This paper also points out some problem when an adaptive antenna is used in wireless ad hoc network.
