Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) An electronic cash system with several banks provides higher degree of robustness compared to that with only one bank. Not only does it support task distribution among bank, but also it provides security improvement: the impact caused by the secret leakage of only few banks will not affect the system, while in a system with one bank, the secret leakage of one bank will bring the whole sytem to an end. In SCIS 2004, Hanatani et al. proposed an extension of Chaum, Fiat, Naor electronic cash system using RSA-FDH based multi-signature scheme. However, it contains some drawbacks, such as the strict limitation of signing order, and the low efficiency due to the using of Cut &; Choose technique in the system. In this paper, we propose an new electronic cash system with several banks based on Abe's Secure Three-move Blind Signature Scheme. Our scheme is able to eliminate the drawbacks of listed above, and we also prove that our scheme is secure against one-more forgery in random oracle model under the intractability of the Discrete Log Problem assumption.
