Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The rapidly increasing number of users and services in mobile communications requires efficient usage of the available frequency band. MIMO (Multi-Input Multi-Output) systems are one possible candidate to meet these demands. This paper proposes likelihood detection utilizing decision of partial bits in consideration of computational complexity and data quality in the receivers. In the proposed decision, first likelihood partial bits which have high quality are decided using inverse channel detection and next the other bits which are not decided using inverse channel detection are decided using likelihood detection. It is clear that by the receivers both obtain good BER performances and reduce computational complexity employing the proposed decision scheme.
