| Abstract(in English) | Japan has many contributions to cryptography so far in the world. ID based cryptosystems, secret sharing scheme, linear cryptanalysis and evaluation criteria for strong cryptosystems, public key cryptosystems and provable security, standardization activities, key distribution system based on elliptic curve pairing are examples of our great research results, These research and development of cryptography are reviewed in this paper. |
