Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In recent years, a wealth of space-time coding and modulation techniques have been proposed. Most work has focused on the coherent case, however, several authors have introduced interest techniques for the noncoherent case where neither the transmitter nor the receiver knows the fading coefficients. For example, for large SNRs, differential unitary space-time modulation approaches the capacity of the multiantenna fading channel. However, differential space-time codes are not regarded as optimal technique for mobile communications. Therefore, we consider whether differential unitary space-time codes are appropriate for MIMO mobile systems. Moreover, we present a new differential unitary space-time code at low SNRs. |
