Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Smart communications have considerable interest. Wireless broadcast systems are suitable to provide services because it is possible to transmit to general users and it is acquirable the newest information even if the user does not require actively. However, when communication environment changes rapidly, a packet loss occurs. Although it needs to compensate a loss packet, the conventional method that requests re-transmission to the base-station must affect the broadcasting program of a base-station. Therefore, it is issue that the realization of the re-transmission scheme suitable for the wireless broadcasting system. In this paper, the Push-Type and the Pull-Type compensation protocols using Multicode Sense Spread Spectrum (MCS/SS) as access control are investigated. In particular, the average time characteristic to acquire a broadcast packet and the average traffic characteristic are analyzed and evaluated.
