Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a method of designing the hardware for an elliptic curve cryptosystem controlled by a little program. We can reduce addition, subtraction and multiplication on a finite field that are required for cipher to one operation in the case we select Montgomery-type elliptic curves. Then the cryptosystem hardware has only one computing unit, it is easy that we control and pipeline the hardware. The method of designing the cryptosystem hardware proposed in this paper is suitable for not signature or a key generation but processes of cryptography of stream data or a lot of key generations.
