Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A broadcast encryption scheme or revocation scheme allows a sender to send information securely to a group of receivers excluding some recievers over a broadcast channel. Recently, a new method for a broadcast encryption scheme was proposed by Hwang, Kim and Lee. Their method is very efficient with respect to the communication overhead and the storage overhead at receivers. However, their method is insecure against a collusion of receivers. In this paper we show an attack in which a collusion of two receivers can obtain other receivers' keys which are not given to any of the colluding receivers.
