Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Various types of user authentication or human identification schemes have been studied and deployed. One of the important security evaluation items for such authentication schemes is the resistance against the case that a malicious entity coerces a regular user into being identified by the verifier. One of the countermeasures for the case is "duress alarm", namely a mechanism for the coerced prover to secretly notify the verifier its real the state. In this paper, we discuss user authentication schemes equipped with duress alarm functions and examine the policy to evaluate various alarm functions.
