Abstract(in English) This paper describes schemes for realizing the communication function in the road platform "DotITS". The adaptive cell scheme that can reduce the times of handover as few as possible by varying a size of domain adapted to vehicles' density, the asymmetric sector scheme that can reduce the times of handover in the network level by sending the same data from nearby roadside units and the packet header structure used for the driving assistance applications are proposed. In addition the system's migration is discussed.
