Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Because of its short key length of 56 bits DES became vulnerable to the exhaustive key search attack in 1997 after 20 years since the adoption of DES as a standard. In 2000 AES with key sizes of 128, 192 and 256 bits has been adopted as a successor to the DES. DES algorithm uses 16 round keys of 48 bits in each of 16 rounds. Those 16 round keys are uniquely decided by 56-bit encryption key. This paper presents a simple method of using those round keys as an encryption key instead of the 56-bit DES encryption key.
