Abstract(in English) We have already implemented Arithmetic Compression-Encryption Scheme (ACES) into JBIG2, which is the international standard coding scheme for binary images, to realize data compression and data encryption, simultaneously. In this paper, we discuss about the weak points against cryptanalysis in this scheme, and present a few countermeasures to improve the entire security level of this scheme as well as the effectiveness of them.
