Abstract(in English) | An approximate analysis based on moment matrix analysis (MMA) is presented in this paper. It first approximates non-linear stochastic differential, or difference, equations to simultaneous linear equations of moments defined at discrete events. Next, by eliminating higher order moments than the N + 1th order ones, the simultaneous linear equations are reduced to a matrix equation of their coefficient matrix and the moment vector comprised of the moments of a lower order than N and covariances of the system state. By computing the eigenvectors and eigenvalues of the coefficient matrix, we can analyze the moments and transient response of the system state. The performance of the Internet traffic was evaluated by using MMA and computer simulations, and it was shown that MMA is effective for evaluating simultaneous non-linear stochastic differential equations. |
