Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Amplitude death is a coupling induced stabilization of fixed point in nonlinear oscillators. This phenomenon cannot be observed in two identical nonlinear oscillators coupled by a diffusive connection. However, it was analytically confirmed that a diffusive dynamic-coupling can induce the death. The present paper derives a necessary and sufficient condition of amplitude death analytically and observes amplitude death in van der Pol oscillators coupled by a diffusive dynamic-coupling. The dynamic-coupling is implemented by the well-known RC line (T-type).
