Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The Morris-Lecar (M-L) equation is known as a neuron model exhibiting both class I and class II cxcitabilities according to an appropriate setting of the system parameters. In this paper, we investigate bifurcations of invariant sets in five dimensional parameter space, and clarify the essential parameter contributed to the alternation of the membrane properties of the M-L neuron. We found that the membrane property can be controlled by varying the value of a single parameter.
