Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Bursting response observed in nerve membranes is regarded to be important when the information representation problem in brain is considered. Until now, various bursting responses are illustrated in the mathematical model, and accordingly their related bifurcation mechanisms have been clarified. In this paper, firstly we propose a simple neuron model which indicates excitability of Class 1 and Class 2, based on BVP neuron model, and analyze the bifurcations in this model. Secondly, we construct a 3-dimensional autonomous neuron model which has generating mechanism of Class 1 bursting, based on information of bifurcation structures in a proposing 2-dimensional model. Consequently, we explained different spike number of bursting in some regions which exist continuously in the parameter plane, formed by tangent and period doubling bifurcation curves. Moreover, we confirmed that periodic bursting response becomes chaotic bursting response via period-doubling cascade.
