Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a binary-quantized digital distributed parameter filter. The filter consists of mainly two types of arrays of locally connected identical cells. One of the arrays is a binary-quantized and discretized transmission line element which is equivalent to a left- and right-shift register pair. Another array is a binary cellular array model of linear diffusion systems. No multi-bit arithmetic module is necessary for the filter. It is shown by computer simulation that its frequency response to sigma-delta modulated signals almost agrees with the theoretical response of a corresponding analog filter.
