On characteristics of a simple pulse position map having quantized state

Abstract(in English) A pulse position map having a quantized state can generate various periodic pulse-trains. Many pulse-trains co-exist and the map generates one of them depending on the initial state. We analyze basic characteristics of the co-existing pulse-trains such as their number and periods. We introduce an information coding method for the pulse-trains based on pulse interval modulation, and clarify correspondence between the set of co-existing pulse-trains and a set of code sequences in a parameter subspace. We also introduce a simple spiking oscillator which can realize the map, and consider its application to multiplex communications.
