Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, to reduce the effect of optical beat interference (OBI), we propose spectral amplitude coding (SAC) with 2-ary pulse position modulation (PPM) optical CDMA system using time-spreading of frequency-encoded pulse. In the proposed system, since the power per interference pulse can be reduced, the effect of OBI is mitigated and signal-to-noise rate (SNR) can be increased compared to the conventional system. We analyze the performance of the proposed system and show that the proposed system has better bit error probability than the conventional system.
