Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we proposed a high-speed CWDM method for next-generation photonic routers. 100 Gb Ethernet will be required in the metropolitan area for high-performance GRID computing and large-capacity data-center services in the near future. In this report, we investigated 10 Gbit/s × 12 ch CWDM method as a candidate for the next-generation 100 Gb Ethernet. To realize the long-haul transmission, we proposed the (71 bit, 64 bit) Hamming code and crosstalk-cancellation circuit, which improve a minimum receiving level. In this transmission system, we studied the transmission design by use of level diagrams. As a result, we showed that 100 km transmission for the metropolitan area can be realized.
