Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The paper reviews standardization efforts for next generations photonic network controlling technologies. The Photonic Internet Lab. (PIL) was founded last autumn for realizing new photonic network control protocols based on photonic technologies for managed networks. PIL has two activity streams; one is leading edge-code testing for optimizing new GMPLS protocols. The other is standardization efforts with running code. This paper describes how PIL intends to realize the future photonic Internet.
