Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the deferential 8PSK fiber-optic communication system, the pre-coding structure in transmitter is described. Moreover, even if it employs 2 sets of the same optical receivers as differential quadrature PSK (DQPSK), demodulation and decision capabilities are found to be available by adopting 3-level decision in the electric circuits. Furthermore, the simple model with optical phase noise is developed to clarify required spectrum line width of light sources in the system. Finally, it is shown that 1.5MHz in 10Gsymbol/s is required for 1-dB the power penalty.
