Abstract(in English) For effectively utilizing the WDM networks, Optical Burst Switching (OBS) is coming up as suitable network switching method. In this paper, ultrafast optical path reservation by using optical-code label control packet is proposed for OBS. The optical-code based processing of backward protocols is introduced for handling the out-of-band control packet. Optical label recognition, optical label swapping and optical control packet switching is experimentally demonstrated.
