Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a capacity adjustment capability for photonic networks considering burst traffic characteristics of aggregated users enabled through cooperation between the photonic network and the packet/frame layer. By applying this capability to the photonic network, congestion and loss of packet/frame traffic caused by the user burst traffic is decreased. The paper describes the proposed capacity adjustment capability and evaluates the congestion of packet/frame traffic and wavelength resources.
