Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) With the explosive growth of Internet and Broadband technology, there is a strong need to construct a next generation broadband service convergence network which can accommodate Contents distribution, Interactive Multimedia and Virtual Private Network service. Because Multicast MPLS technology can setup both P2P and P2MP TE LSPs, it is assumed as one of the promising technology to construct this service network which must provide high quality and reliable P2P and P2MP communication service. This paper overviewed two major Multicast MPLS technology which are proposed to IETF and evaluated their protocol function and performance. We showed that the protocol proposed by NTT which can setup a P2MP TE LSP with TERO is superior in function and performance.
