Traffic Control on the Regional Optical Ring Network

Abstract(in English) We are examining optical IP network which connects the node router and the edge routers in the shape of a ring by the optical fiber. With this network composition, logical topology can be freely reconstructed according to how to assign the wavelength by using WDM and wavelength selection at each node by OADM. This research examined traffic engineering, such as load distribution control in the network to propose, and QoS routing, using this feature. Moreover, the simulation shows that this control technique was effective. This paper describes the traffic control technique in the optical ring network.
