Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We numerically show that quasi-phase matched LiNbO_3 cascaded x^<(2)> devices have limiter characteristics induced by the large group-velocity mismatching between the fundamental and second harmonic pulses. Using a 20-mm-long device, an all-optical ultra-fast 3R repeater with a bit rate of 100 Gbps can be expected.
