| Abstract(in English) | ECOC2003 was successfully held in Rimini during Sept. 21-25, 2003 with 1200 attendees. Topics in the field of active devices were tunable laser sources, wavelength selectable lasers and MZ-modulators. In the field of the passive devices, holey fibres and wavegudes with high index contrast were discussed. The photonic band gap devices were discussed in the both fields of active and passive devices. |
