Abstract(in English) In the design of Time-Spread/Wavelength-Hop type optical code Encoder/Decoder using FBG, it is efficient in terms of the dispersion tolerance besides the bandwidth efficiency to narrow the interval of signal wavelength. However, subpulse is reflected from FBG, its sidelobe is suppressed inadequately, besides the main pulse. In order to suppress the sidelobe, we developed the process of FBG fabrication. As a result, we improved the rate of sidelobe suppression up to 31dB. By using this process, we removed the subpulse successfully though Encoder/Decoder is composed of FBG, its wavelength interval is 0.4nm. Moreover, we fabricated the Encoder/Decoder with the dispersion compensating capability. By using this Encoder/Decoder, we demonstrated the 40km SMF transmission of 10 Gbit/s signals without dispersion compensating devices.
