Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We analyze the characteristics of a reflection-less bent waveguide consists of two-dimensional photonic crystal waveguide and microcavity. The method of solution is the FD-TD method based on the principles of multidimensional Wave Digital Filters. The bent waveguide has additional pillar at the corner region which act as potential barriers making a resonant tunneling so that we can eliminate reflected waves from the corner. First we can find that resonance mode of the microcavity is excited at the corner region. Next we can show that resonance frequency can be controlled by adding the defect in the microcavity.
