Loss performance for packet size Based Dynamic scheduling

Abstract(in English) This paper propose a new active queue management scheme for AF services guaranteeing minimum bandwidth provided that RIO and WFQ are used as the basic QoS control mechanisms in the Diffserv network. The proposed method dynamically controls queue threshold of RIO and bandwidth allocation of WFQ taking account of sojourn time and size of head of line packet. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme reduces the packet Loss as well as packet delay for higher priority QoS classes when packets with longer size are frequently transmitted.
