Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, demands for communication system are increasing on access network as FTTH and CATV. WDM transmission system using three wavelengths is one of the suitable systems for serving broadcast and communication at same time on the FTTH or CATV. We have developed micro-optics WDM device using quartz rod lens collimator. The micro-optics WDM devices are suitable for mass-production. The micro-optic WDM devices were tested on WDM transmission system using three wavelengths for serving broadcast and communication.
