Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) PMD mitigation by an all-optical signal regenerator based on spectrum broadening and slicing using normal-dispersion fiber is numerically analyzed. It is shown that synchronous amplitude/phase modulation in front of the regenerator improves the performance.
