Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) 50GHz-spaced 55 × 42.7Gb/s signals have been successfully transmitted over 2500km, using optically-bandlimited CS-RZ signal and an SPM-based all-optical reshaper in receiver without using polarization demultiplexing. A Q-factor improvement of about 1.5dB was obtained by using the all-optical reshpaper. Furthermore, we confirmed that a Q-factor of more than 16dB was achieved after FEC decoding.
