Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Switching characteristics of ultrafast all-optical loop-structured interferometric switch (TOAD) is simulated. Semiconductor Optical Amplifier(SOA) is considered as the non-linear element to get a phase difference between the counter propagating lights in the two arms of the interferometer, and hence, all-optical switching is performed. In this paper, device parameters dependency of the switching characteristics are investigated.
